BRASHER BORGUE GTX TEST - THE BEST YET.....
After several years testing and providing feedback to Brasher on their boots, when the latest boot from the Provolution range - the Borgue GTX arrived, I was taken aback by the most un-Brasher like appearance. This boot could be made by any of the leading technical manufacturers, only the discreet Brasher branding gives the game away. After using the boot for the first time I just had to phone my contact at Brasher and tell them that this was the best boot they had ever made. It was instantly comfortable - genuine out of the box comfort - and fitted perfectly. I've used it for hillwalking and some easy scrambling and it has been top class - it's the boot I reach for first out of the 25 plus pairs of boots I have at my disposal (sad isn't it...!) It's one of the few boots I am happy to keep on after a day on the fells, and if you're looking for a three season boot which you can do some easy scrambling in as well - this is the one.
